Libby Lindenfelser

Introduced to Pilates via happy accident, Libby was invited to try a reformer class at Refine Pilates.  Instantly taking a liking to the movements and flow that pilates offers, she decided to embark on the journey of becoming a certified pilates instructor through Balanced Body.  Outside the studio, Libby works full time as an occupational therapist and specializes in neurological injuries.  She’s found that the core principles of pilates are applicable both in and outside of work.   “I love that pilates is a functional workout, the combination of balance, strength, and breath carries over into all aspects of our life.”  In addition to work and pilates, Libby enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and golfing.

Stef Ullery

As a seasonal runner gravitating toward high-impact cross training, Stefany stepped outside her comfort zone to try a Pilates class and soon discovered a transformative journey.  She embraced the improvement in balance and a reduction in injuries through the unique movements of Pilates.  The fundamental mind and body connection inherent in Pilates resonated with her, fostering strength and an appreciation for the holistic approach. “I am grateful to live an active life.  I love that I can be a mom who snowboards with her boys and a wife who enjoys trail running with her husband.  Continuing Pilates as I age will help facilitate movement in an active lifestyle for years to come.” Beyond the studio, Stefany finds joy in bird watching, rock collecting, and immersing herself in the great outdoors with her family.  As a creative spirit, she channels her passion into her business, Flora & Fauna Des. Gabriela

Gabriela is  originally from Mexico City and began her training at the National School of Classical & Contemporary Dance, continued her studies in Consevatorio de Danza de Guillermo Maldonado and Taller Coreografico & Contemporaneo de UNAM. She holds a Bachelors degree in dance and choreography and also danced with several companies in Mexico City. Passionate about teaching she opened her own dance studio in Mexico (DANCE FUSION) and has had the opportunity to compete with her school. She has also danced in the USA with dance companies: L.A Underground, Urban Jamm, L.A Dance Force, Starlight Production, and many more with numerous awards. Gabriela is passionate about the power of dance and movement and was introduced to the Pilates method when she was an aspiring contemporary dancer. After years of teaching dance and fitness, Gabriela decided to earn her Pilates teaching certification from Polestar. She managed to translate her enthusiasm for dance AND pilates into the world of fitness and training. “My fitness programing is innovative and creative with a considerable following of clients who feed off my fun energy!” Gabriela has over 30 years of training experience and at the same time is caring and encouraging to help each client

Sarah Carothers

Sarah has been practicing pilates with Refine since 2015, and has loved the strength and stability gained from the workouts.  Always having a passion for health and fitness, she spent years focused on running, weight training, and other higher impact exercises.  She has found the benefits of regular pilates practice to be a fantastic alternative to gaining and maintaining strength without impacting joint health.  “This is a different kind of strong than I’ve ever felt through my years of weight training.  Stemming from deep in the core… long and balanced from the inside out kind of strong.”  Fascinated by all the human body is naturally capable of, Sarah looks forward to assisting clients find the same appreciation for pilates she has by creating fun and challenging workouts that develop balanced strength and stability for all levels and abilities.   In addition to teaching pilates, Sarah has worked as a freelance graphic designer for more than 25 years.  With her kids now grown and (mostly) gone, if she’s not in the studio or her home office you’ll likely find her somewhere in the outdoors biking with girlfriends (if there’s a beer at the end), golfing with her husband (but only 9 holes),

My name is Maddi,

Movement has always been a huge part of my life – whether it’s hiking, strength training or running, staying active is truly my passion. Pilates has become a foundation that supports all of it. It helps me move better, feel stronger, and stay grounded in both body and mind.

My goal is to help you build, strength, find coordination, and leave class feeling more aligned, energized, and empowered – both on and off the reformer.

Bridget Murphy

My name is Bridget Murphy.  I’ve lived in St Michael for 22 years.  I am very passionate about teaching.  I enjoy my clients discovering what they need for their bodies and what adjustments or modifications they can make to best serve them in their exercises.  My background is in dance and aquatics, and I’ve received my certification in anatomy, injury special populations, and my Masters certification in Stott Pilates in all apparatus.   I’ve also attended most special workshops through Stott Pilates for smaller equipment on the mat.
