Becca has been practicing Pilates for over 10 years and loves how it’s principles – and the mindbody connection – can positively impact so many aspects of life. A former college hockey goalie, she was first introduced to Pilates during physical therapy while recovering from hip surgeries. She quickly fell in love with the precise movements that activate even the smallest muscle groups.
Becca continued her Pilates practice throughout both of her pregnancies and was amazed at how it helped her body stay strong and resilient during such a transformative season. This experience inspired her to pursue teaching, with the goal of helping others optimize their mind-body connection through Pilates.
Outside the studio, Becca balances raising her two young children with her career in structural engineering, where she teaches engineers how to use structural design software in her 9-5 role. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking with her family at their properties in Minnesota and Montana.
