Sarah has been practicing pilates with Refine since 2015, and has loved the strength and stability gained from the workouts. Always having a passion for health and fitness, she spent years focused on running, weight training, and other higher impact exercises. She has found the benefits of regular pilates practice to be a fantastic alternative to gaining and maintaining strength without impacting joint health. “This is a different kind of strong than I’ve ever felt through my years of weight training. Stemming from deep in the core… long and balanced from the inside out kind of strong.” Fascinated by all the human body is naturally capable of, Sarah looks forward to assisting clients find the same appreciation for pilates she has by creating fun and challenging workouts that develop balanced strength and stability for all levels and abilities. In addition to teaching pilates, Sarah has worked as a freelance graphic designer for more than 25 years. With her kids now grown and (mostly) gone, if she’s not in the studio or her home office you’ll likely find her somewhere in the outdoors biking with girlfriends (if there’s a beer at the end), golfing with her husband (but only 9 holes), or walking in the woods with her dog (and a camera).
